  • Children's Art Activities

    SPONSORED BY TARGET. Free children's art activities are available in Room 174. HOURS:10am-2pm. Elementary art teacher Sandi Ticknor and SPASH teacher Shari Pfeffer will be helping kids make fun paper hats during the festival. Children under ten years old need to be accompanied by an adult. We do not accept any responsibility for unattended children.
  • Win Art! Art Raffle

    44 participating Festival artists are generously donating original pieces of art to help raise money for local student art awards. Tickets are $1 each or get 12 for $10. Do not need to be present to win. The Art Raffle is from 10am-3:30pm in front of the UWSP Edna Carlsten Gallery. Purchase tickets at booth #13

    The UWSP Student Group Student Art League (SAL) and Carlsten Gallery Student Advisory Committee (CGSAC) will be selling snacks and drinks from 10am-3pm to help raise money for their student events.

    March 15 - April 7 Emerging Artists Awards at RAC are sponsored by the Donaldson Co. Area student artwork grades 7 – 12 in conjunction with Youth Art Month. Reception Sunday, March 17, 1 – 3 pm
  • Carlsten Gallery- UW- Stevens Point Gallery

    Exhibition in gallery during Festival: Pinned Down: The Locking up of America. The exhibition will feature the work of artist/designer Wes Janz. Trained as an architect, Janz has explored the economic and social conditions that impact our culture and the resulting injustices and inequities that manifest themselves through the lens of marginalized populations from around the world. He has investigated vernacular architecture in rural and urban places, traveling, building and reporting from India through Flint, Michigan. His more recent work investigates the impact of incarceration in America, highlighting the huge number of prison facilities in American States, and the profound effect incarceration has on juveniles that are entering the system.
  • Festival Eve Dinner for Artists & Sponsors

    There is a Saturday evening banquet for sponsors, artists, and their guests sponsored by the FoA Council. Dinner is at the Newman University Parish, 2108 Fourth Avenue, Stevens Point, WI (corner of 4th Avenue and Reserve Street on campus) During the evening event UWSP student art award winners will be recognized. The event begins at 7:00pm.
